I have been with Embrace for 9 years…

I have been with Embrace for 9 years now. I have 2 dogs and my wife and I just got a new puppy. I signed her up with Embrace. Getting her signed up was quick and easy. One of my older dogs just had dental wellness check up. Embrace customer service was great. They told me what exactly to do and it was reviewed right away. I would recommend Embrace to anyone that has a dog or cat.

Insurance that provides Assurance.

We wish that health insurance for people was this comprehensive. Thought it's not purfect, our experience with Embrace over the last decade has been transparent, communicative and ultimately when we needed it most, extremely supportive. We have been with Embrace for the duration of both our pups and are grateful for the options and the easy to use portal interface, prompt communication and explanations of benefits, and services and coverage plans and they offer. Overall very pleased with Embrace

Overall very pleased with Embrace. Their policies are comprehensive, reasonable, and easy to understand. Had some trouble initially with getting some claims processed. Unsure why it took so long, but they were eventually taken care of. Filing this last claim was extremely easy! We'll see how long it takes for them to process. Also my premium suddenly and inexplicably increased by $14/month recently! Still trying to find an explanation on their website...

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
