TPLO Surgery for knee injury for my Bernese Mountain Dog

This is my first experience using pet health insurance. I have had my dog for four years and have had very little in the way of health issues until about four weeks ago when she was suddenly walking on three legs. I took her to the surgeon only to find out that she had torn her ACL and we did surgery immediately and filed a claim with Embrace. The Embrace staff were very helpful on the phone and answered all of my questions politely. I am happy to report that they reimbursed the medical expenses in under two weeks, and even gave me follow up calls and an email to check on how my dog was doing post surgery. I couldn't be happier with the service!!

Thank you for your help.

My Bambi had to have 4 tumors remove because one of them was cancerous and the have a Biopsy tissues which turn out to be clear of cancer after the surgery. The stuff of Embrace Pet Insurance were kind to help full out the claims form when I ask how to do them and send, she send me the forms and instructions of how to fill them out. It seen to me that they care about my Bambi and me. Plus thank you for passing the claim very fast. I did not have to worry after I put my claim in, thank you. I would recommend EMBRACE PET INSURANCE to any body that needs insurance for their pets.

Super easy & fast

Love this insurance. My dog just had surgery and I received my payment fast. She had several appointments leading up to the surgery and any questions they. Had, they went right to the vet. Other insurers do not do this.

Get the insurance!!

My Dobie jumped over an old part of my fence and tore her thigh really bad. The vets did a great job and she healed completely. Having her covered gave me financial peace of mind. Don’t even hesitate because you never know and it’s worth it.

I recommend Embrace Pet Insurance to everyone that has a pet. They are very responsive and keep the client informed of everything. The best there is!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
