Many Claims and No Issues

We have had our 10 dogs and cat insured with Embrace for one year and have had several claims. Everything covered under our policy has been covered with no issues. Read your policy carefully and you won't be frustrated. I think people that complain haven't done that. Embrace has allowed us to have a large family insured for a reasonable cost with the options they have.

During a medical crisis, the last thing you want to worry about is whether you can afford care.

Embrace has the most affordable comprehensive coverage. I really had a peace of mind when my golden retriever got injured. I'm absolutely grateful that I didn't have to pick and choose what kind of care he received due to the high health care cost. Embrace coverage kicked in and allowed us to continue providing the best care for our family. Embrace staff is friendly and organized. We highly recommend this insurance company to everyone.

Maggie Was Diagnosed with Kidneyt Disease

I was very troubled to learn that my Maltese, Maggie, had kidney disease. But I wanted to know more about it - the severity, treatment, etc. I located a superb nephrology (kidney specialist) veterinarian who was three hours away - but definitely worth the trip. The doctor was excellent. The prognosis not as bad as I anticipated (low-grade chronic kidney disease). She had a very thorough examination, including ultrasound. Right now we are only changing her diet, but I will keep an keen eye on her protein levels. The bill was $1479, of which $1183 was covered by my Embrace policy.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
