Good customer service.
Dog had intestinal issue. Vet service charge, x-rays, and medications. Embrace staff covered the claim fully and reported promptly.

Is good at what it covers.
Once you get past all the things the insurance does not cover and the deductible, the insurance is not bad.
We adopted a 9 year old dog with a few health issues. While he was new to us, Embrace would not cover anything preexisting. As a result his two knee surgeries were not covered. Once I got past the $500 deductible for things that were covered, we started to get some money back. The vet filed the paperwork and we were sent a check. That part was easy.
I did not find any insurance that would cover a pre-existing condition. I just wish that insurance would start with the health of the animal on the day the insurance policy begins.

Sick dog
Our 6 year old Norwegian Elkhound was in terrible pain, crying and moaning. We took him to the Pet Emergency clinic and they examined him along with x-rays but couldn’t find what was wrong. They gave him some pain and ligament pills. The next morning we were back at the emergency clinic for a full battery of tests and they finally found he had pancreatitis. This was a terrible and scary experience. The only positive part of this experience was how prompt Embrace’s response was and how quickly they reimbursed us. We are very impressed with our Embrace coverage and would recommend it.

Embrace Insurance has been responsive and caring
My dog was diagnosed with grade 2 cancer in her mammary tract. Embrace has been with me every step of the way from x-rays, surgery, biopsy, diagnosis and the oncologist's assessment and recommendations for treatment. Embrace representatives have responded with respect and caring to my questions and concerns. Processing and payment of claims has been prompt. I would highly recommend Embrace to anyone buying pet insurance.

So thankful for Embrace!
Bought insurance when our now 9yr old cavachon was a puppy. Never had to use it until she tore her ACL and required TPLO surgery. Embrace has been WONDERFUL to work with and claims are effortless. And...both our vet and the hospital that did her surgery said Embrace is a great company! I'm recommending them to everyone!
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
