Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I have wellness protection for my dog along with illness/accident insurance. This claim was for wellness, I had his teeth professionally cleaned and also I got his flea/tick medication. You decide how much you want your wellness amount to be from what they offer and you decided from the long list of services what you want to use your wellness dollars for. Embrace makes filing a claim so easy and extremely easy for wellness claim. You just attach a copy of the receipt for the wellness claim and that’s it. The money is then deposited into my designated checking account approx 10 days. I have been with Embrace since my little one was a puppy and he is now 2 years and 7 months old. I have never had a problem with any claims and they are quick in processing their claims and also they send you an email to let you know it has been processed..

I was skeptical due to reading pet insurance reviews in general. I have been an embrace customer for about 4 years but luckily had never had to file a claim. A few weeks ago my nearly 9 year old lab mix and canine love of my life got seriously ill. I had to take him to the hospital at 3 in the morning and he spent the day in doggie ICU, and another day at the hospital. I came home almost two weeks ago to find our 14 month Goldendoodle in a state of extreme distress: vomiting blood, foaming at the mouth, and lethargic. Immediately, I called the vet who recommended he go straight to the emergency clinic (as it was after hours). The emergency veterinary hospital found that Caramel had eaten a sock and it was stuck in his small intestine. I had to put 75% of the estimated cost of surgery/treatment down--which believe me, was a LOT. I am so grateful that I have Embrace and did not have to worry about putting that large amount of money down at one time. Today, I received notification that my claim was covered and will receive my reimbursement within 10 days. My two dogs are both insured through Embrace, and I think that after this I will up their coverage for next year! I was afraid that it would be difficult to get a claim covered, or that I would get the run around after submitting it, but we experienced no problems at all. :)
