Necessary For Any Pet Owner

Embrace has been a financial life saver, not just for my pocket book, but literally for my dog, Yara. The best thing I did was purchase insurance when we brought home a new puppy. With all the sorts of mischief she's gotten into that has led to multiple costly emergency visits, we may not have been able to cover the costs ourselves without the benefits of Embrace.

Best decision we made to get Embrace insurance

4th retriever we’ve had and never had insurance. Unfortunately and sadly we had 2 medical problems that ran into quite a few bills with our previous dogs . Hopefully we won’t need to use the accident or sick part of this insurance but the wellness part was so worth it. Very happy with Embrace and impressed with the speed claims are completed.

Delivered as promised!

Our 4yo havanese developed gastroenteritis on a Sunday afternoon. We tried several home remedies to no avail and ended up in Pet ER Sunday night. He was dehydrated, still vomiting with diarrhea. The next 2 days he traveled between ER and our vet's office needing 24 hr intravenous drips and drugs to treat the symptoms. The bill was staggering! I was nervous about the insurance paying (first insurance year and first claim). Embrace delivered as promised! They were courteous and prompt and we received checks exactly as we anticipated within a month!! The reimbursement from this one "stomach upset" actually paid the premium on both dogs! We were skeptical last year at this time - we are relieved believers today.

Amazing Servicr

After researching pet insurance, we decided to go with Embrace through USAA. Our puppy ate a sock and thankfully we had insurance to help. Everyone in claims and customer service was incredibly responsive and helpful. Our claims were processed faster than I anticipated and it was a huge help! Thank you!! Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
