Fantastic Insurance

I have been using Embrace for years. I even used it for the senior dogs I had. One of my young dogs cost somewhere around $2600 at a surgary clinic. I got reimbursed $2000. I get wellness covered and medication with them. I just bought Bravecto and got reimbursed.

No sentence needed. Just one word, superb.

I was a late arrival to the pet insurance idea. I was watching one of those Pol vet shows while a pet parent broke down because they couldn't afford their pet's treatment. I think I cried twice as hard as they did as I was thinking of how I'd feel if that was me. After that I started my research for insurance for my fur baby. They all seemed pretty standard but rigid in their offerings. I was looking for something more flexible to fit in my budget, looking for more bang for my buck but still had good reviews. I found Embrace. I could tailor my plan to what I thought fit my 9yr old dog might need. I felt better after signing up even though my dog is in good health. I didn't have to use it for 8 months but now my baby has a diagnosed cataract. I contacted Embrace for Pre-Certification and on the same day they authorized the $4,130 testing, medication and surgery. I can't tell you the relief I felt that I will be able to help my baby because Embrace Pet insurance is there to help.

Excellent coverage, easy claim procedure, and pleasure to deal with.

I belong to a lot of dog groups on FaceBook, anytime anyone asks for recommendations for pet insurance I always recommend Embrace. I tell them how affordable you are and how good the coverage is. Choosing Embrace was a great decision.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
