Will not cover anything for senior dogs…
Will not cover anything for senior dogs who haven’t already been covered. You’re better off starting a savings for the emergencies. Update ( 8/16/2022) I also tried asking questions for clarification on what exactly was covered and was only told I can only be told what's not, which is everything I went to the vet for. So, spare me. I just wasted $1600 on a policy that covers nothing!

Thankful I signed up
I signed up for pet insurance thinking I’ll never have to use it. A month after getting Embrace we found a liver tumor in my cat. Filling a claim and getting reimbursed was very fast and simple. I did everything though the app in 4 easy steps. The claim was processed in about 3-4 days and received my reimbursement a few days later. I’m also very pleased with the customer service experience I’ve had with Embrace when I called to ask for questions. Everyone was very nice. I am thankful for the coverage I have for my cats and am glad I signed up with Embrace!
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
