MANY THANKS TO EMBRACE…

Most recently our 14 year old yorkie became gravely ill very quickly. She was hospitalized and as any pet parent knows in that moment cost does not matter. When the illness was remedied we were left with a sizeable bill. Thank you Embrace as you not only covered the majority of the cost but did so quickly Our baby is now on the road to recovery and thanks to Embrace we can watch her recover and not spend all our time worrying about the expense

Appalling

Appalling! I have a one and half year old Newfoundland who needed chiropractic care. He had two treatments over two months and the vet advised to continue once a month for a while. I submitted two claims which went against my deductible. The third claim was denied as Embrace have a limit of 12 weeks of chiropractic care for the LIFETIME of the dog. So not 12 treatments. Not 12 weeks of treatment - but a 12 weeks time period. So I could have done a treatment every day for 12 weeks and claimed every day - but because he didn’t need that - I chose two treatments over 10 weeks. My third treatment fell outside of the 12 weeks window so now he is not eligible for any chiropractic treatment for the REMAINDER OF HIS LIFE. This is absolute insanity and just such a rip off! Additionally it could potentially save embrace thousands of dollar if I choose later to do X-rays or MRI as the issues are not resolved. Shame on you Embrace for ripping off your customers again! UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE I just read your response dated 13 minutes ago. This doesn’t tell me anything! It’s also mid leading when you say per covered condition! Condition is the problem as far as I’m concerned. So assuming he has a different issue that needs chiropractic treatment - different from his first condition! He is still NOT COVERED. Your policy is misleading as it should clearly state you only cover treatment for 12 consecutive weeks for the LIFETIME OF THE DOG!!! So if he hurts himself four years later and needs chiropractic care HE IS NOT COVERED! Additionally your “ sales “ team does not understand this either. I called to ask for a new policy. I specifically asked about the 12 weeks and was told “no you can claim as often as you like”. This is how you reel us us in - by lying! Shame on you

Still waiting

When our puppy broke her leg in June, the vet sent the bill three times and I sent it twice. They are using the last one dated August and still nothing as of 9/14.

Comprehensive Coverage?

Just st signed up yesterday and I will be dropping it today if I can’t get some satisfaction. I cannot find any specific surgeries that are covered and the associate that took my inquiry stated that she could not tell me which surgeries are cover but that she would inquire and then I was left on hold for far too long and assumed that she would not return. Customer service is ill informed and are vague and evasive. The policy does express everything that will not be covered, but no mention whatsoever of specific surgeries for breed specific genetic problems. Which is the most important to me as I explained when I signed up. I needed comprehensive accident coverage and breed specific surgery coverage, none of which are visible in the policy that I purchased. So disappointed. I’ll do a follow up on this review as soon as I get answers from Embrace.
