They make the insurance process as easy as possible to reduce the stressful illness experience.

It is extremely stressful for us watching our little dog suffering so much from a skin infection spread all over his body. Now vomiting. And has to see a specialist. The one thing we can control is insurance paperwork. It doesn't get any nicer than the way Embrace makes it for us and how kind they are, knowing this is stressful.

Embrace takes the sting out of surgery

I have been an Embrace customer for 9 years. I have never filed a claim except for the wellness policy claims which I highly recommend. My poor fur baby had to have knee reconstruction so I had a lot of claims to file. It only took several days to have all the claims processed and a couple days later the money was in my account. It all went just like the policy said it would. I like that you can adjust several things to custom fit your policy and the yearly deductible is so much better than the per incident that other pet insurance companies have. Filing claims is easy and communication is great. Thank you Embrace for taking the sting out of this ordeal!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
