Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Finnegan has been covered by Embrace for over 12 months...and (possibly) as with any puppy, has had some claims...including ear infections/hot spots/and a bout with pneumonia. While somewhat common(?), he has kept the vet busy...and embrace has reviewed and processed the claims promptly and completely. I would recommend the insurance based on our experience.

When my cane corso became ill, I hoped that his insurance would cover his health care expenses. Embrace was quick, efficient and decisive! The reimbursement process was fair and painless! Excellent customer service!

Our Maincoone was diagnosed with cancer. She was tested, hospitalized in intensive care oncology, treated and in the end passed away because she was too sick. Embrace paid her bills per our policy almost daily as I submitted the bills making it possible for us to continue to try to save our cat. If I could say 1 word about Embrace it would be COMPASSIONATE! They were there with us every day financially and supporting us as we did all we could to save Pepper. We have 2 other cats covered and the peace of mind is immeasurable! Thankful they are in our pet care corner.

Extremely disappointed. I gave Embrace a chance because on paper they seem great; low monthly payments, coverage for emergency and up to 90% reimbursement. However this was not my experience. When my cat first came home from the shelter, she had an upper respiratory infection which I had to pay out of pocket understandably to treat. 7 months later she had another one totally unrelated to the first and after I spoke with someone regarding my concern they assured me I would be covered. $1500 later, Embrace refuses to reimburse me a dollar because they claim her upper respiratory infection as a preexisting condition. I was concerned getting an older cat because I had a feeling insurance companies would be jerking me around like this, but I gave Embrace a chance only to be let down. Filled out form online and received a response within days (it was a week-end). Next thing I knew, a check was in the mail. Very fair and pleased with Embrace.
