Embrace doesn't allow ALL CHANGES…

Embrace doesn't allow all CHANGES (increase in coverage) at renewal although I was told I could make changes at that time. Also, every illness is considered pre-existing....even curable illnesses....and will not be covered in the future, should you decide to re-write your policy. Other companies will include most 'simple' illnesses after a 180 day wait period. Great claims experience but poor customer retention.

Excellent Service

Submitting claims was easy with the app. Response was fast. I had several submissions and there was only one minor invoice issue that was handled directly between the provider and Embrace. I am very pleased with the Embrace service.

We are so happy with our pet…

We are so satisfied with our pet insurance! Our dog Timber had to see the ER vet for being sick with vomiting and diarrhea. We ruled out blockages and Parvo and it was scary! We got all his medications and his re-hydration pack made all the difference. He was soon well again and we submitted our claim - for prompt and thorough processing. It saved us hundreds of dollars. So grateful & loved the efficiency! We embrace Embrace insurance!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
