very satisfied with the claim settlement

The vet could file the claim for me and I did not have to show anything except the paid invoices. The process did not take as long as I was told and Embrace paid what they said they would in my contract. On the strength of this transaction I added another dog to the policy.

Disappointed and feel duped!

We adopted two cats in August and took them to the vet for a check-up just to make sure everything was okay. Fortunately, they were both in good health although the vet did detect a slight heart murmur in both cats. At the time of the examination, the vet informed us that this could be attributed to the stress of being taken out of their new home after they had just gotten used to us. (Fear that we might taking them back to the shelter) Sure enough, on subsequent visits, the heart murmur was no longer heard. In early January one of the cats started coughing. Usually just once a day, but just to be sure he was okay I took him to the vet. They did x-rays and gave him a shot for asthma. On the x-ray, they thought his heart looked a little enlarged so they recommended an echocardiogram. I knew this was an expensive test, but I thought, better safe than sorry and also felt at ease because I had Embrace pet insurance. Luckily the echo came back fine and the cough cleared up from the shot. What a relief! Well, until I found out the claim had been DENIED!!! After waiting over a month both claims were denied by Embrace because they declared him as having a pre-existing condition. Apparently, the heart murmur that no longer exists nullified the claims. My vet wrote a letter to Embrace assuring them that the heart murmur was "white coat syndrome" but they still denied the claim. Disappointment is an understatement for the way I feel about Embrace, not to mention the $1,500 bill that I am now stuck with paying. I would NOT recommend this company!!!!

Great Pet Insurance! I never got pet insurance for my…

I never got pet insurance for my furbabies before but, for some reason, I did when I rescued 2 cats in 2021. One of my boys started "coughing" in Spring of 2022, turns out he developed asthma. Embrace has been nothing but phenomenal as a pet insurance company. They review my claims and pay my share quickly. I have never had a pet with asthma before but am certainly happy I chose Embrace, they are a great partner in helping keep boys healthy. I have submitted 3 claims so far and they pay them promptly. I would highly recommend Embrace!

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. I submitted two claims incorrectly. The agent who reached out explained the process and corrected the issue.

Don't sign up

I wish I never switched to this pet insurance. Not worth the money I saved. Filed claims in December and still have not been reimbursed. They kept asking about medical records from a vet clinic I've never been too. I explained that to them and they put my claims in the back of the line to be reviewed. At least expedite the re-review of the claim. Now they're asking for medical records from a clinic that I've already sent the medical records to when I signed up for their policy. It has been a headache to try to be reimbursed Update: After 5 months after my policy started, they finally listed my dog's preexisting conditions. They use any excuse to apply a preexisting condition. Went to the vet several times for gastroenteritis and they denied claims because I did not get fecal testing done to rule out Giardia and other parasites. Nice job telling me I need to ask the vet for fecal testing after I already went to the vet. Cancelled my policy right away! What a waste of time and money
