Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I submitted a claim with ease, except mild confusion with the diagnosis landing page...not clear on what I should detail.

Super simple and takes the stress off an already stressful time!

My experience with Embrace started off well, with understanding and helpful customer service representatives and informative welcome packets. However, it quickly turned sour as my first claim took two months to process and then was denied. My claim was for a visit where my pet had not received a diagnosis at all, her tests came back negative and the reason for her illness remains unclear. Embrace, however, decided that because she had presented similar symptoms before my policy started, she is not eligible for reimbursement anytime these symptoms are present. I was paid $6 of an $840 claim because Embrace certified that *symptoms* were enough to confirm a preexisting condition that she was never diagnosed for by a licensed medical practitioner. After multiple calls and emails asking to appeal this decision Embrace closed my claim without further inquiry. I am extremely unhappy with their services and will not be returning after my first year's policy is complete.

My dog was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer two weeks ago. Embrace has paid every claim within days allowing us to focus on him instead of worrying about thousands of dollars.

Once I discovered how easy it was to file a claim through the Embrace app, it was a snap. Those I talked to were pleasant and helpful. My claim was paid promptly.
