Well worth the Cost, Trust me!

We have had Embrace for a few years, and luckily have only used it twice. When my Aussie got pancreatitis, it broke our hearts and we had to pay about 3k for her hospitalization. Embrace covered almost all of that amount and we have have never been so happy with a pet insurance carrier. Thank you Embrace for helping us take care of our fur baby. This was the best decision we made for our animals!

Horrible company would not recommend

Horrible company would not recommend. My first claim, which was not enough enough to have met the deductible l was denied on unsubstantiated grounds. My dog was seen for inverted sneezing and a potential nasal polyp. His claim was denied on the basis that I had brought him in for an annual check up several months prior and mentioned that season shedding had seemed to make him itchy than normal. These are two very unrelated conditions.

If you call and try to buy insurance…

If you call and try to buy insurance they pick up super fast. If you have an issue or try to cancel good luck you be waiting for almost 40 min and you’re lucky if they pick up the call at the end your call gets desconnected. Worse businesses ever.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
