Best decision we made for coverage.

We have had Embrace Insurance since 7/2021 when we brought our puppy home. I have not experienced any issues with claims to this point. Any time I called I spoke with a knowledgable agent and had all my questions answered. I have received reimbursements in exceptionally fast times. As with any policy it is ultimately the owners responsibility to completely understand their purchase. Be certain to compare apples to apples when researching any other company. In my opinion Embrace gave me the best coverage for the money spent with options to personalize the plan.

Horrible

Horrible. I’ve called insurance adjuster was out of town and couldn’t help. When she came back, she called me at time I’m at work. Even when I left a perfect time to contact me daily. She did this twice. And I was told she’d be out of the office again for a couple days. So, I’m very unhappy with that. Also, without notice my rate was raised and I wasn’t told nor did I receive an email at all about this. I had to log in to my account to find out. I would love to talk with someone about this. But seems like I can never get to anyone at a good time.

Having Embrace insurance for our pets…excellent decision

Having Embrace insurance for our pets has been an excellent decision. We have a dog and cat. Our claims have been quickly responded to and reimbursed. It is reassuring having insurance, as the expenses for regular check ups and vaccinations have continually increased. Taking my family pets to the vet gets taken care of promptly.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I PURCHASED THE INSURANCE. I have always had pets and never had pet insurance until recently. I purchased this policy and Embrace found a way to essentially carve out every possible body part on my dog including anything dermatological, because she was itchy at one vet visit.. show me a dog who was never itchy for a 12 month period of time, because that is apparently what it takes to be covered... in any case in my opinion the insurance is a total waste of time and money and the adjuster on our file was condescending and just plain rude. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
