My dog had several emergency visits to…

My dog had several emergency visits to an animal hospital and follow up visits to her regular vet racking up 5 bills for over $5K. I put them on my charge card and received reimbursement from Embrace before my bill came due. Quick and thorough service and very understanding customer service. I would highly recommend Embrace if you need pet insurance.

The software is super easy to use

The software is super easy to use, and the coverage is just what we need. We knew when we got the dogs we'd be paying for routine services and products. Out coverage through Embrace gives us peace of mind that when emergencies happen as we all know they do, that we will be covered. Also the times when I have called and spoken when a representative, I was very pleased with the customer service, wait time, and the rep's ability to provide information/solve the issue.

I could never get through to anyone

I could never get through to anyone, ever, so I could ask questions or get any sort of support. The website links or login never worked properly. Was denied every single claim- And after my dog passed away all I got was repeated scripted responses or an email with yet another static scripted response. This dog was beloved and my child, that hurt. Still never spoke to anyone but at least got that email after they figured out he had passed and my account would be closed. Tried multiple times to get through just to speak with anyone. The app was ok, but also didn’t always work.

Embrace for the win!

I had never had pet insurance before, but after extensive research I chose to purchase a plan with embrace for my new puppy. What a life saver it has been! When she was 7 months old, she suffered a bad leg injury requiring surgery and multiple vet visits. Once my deductible was met, reimbursement was very simple and user friendly. The plan was affordable and customer service is always helpful.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
