So far we have been extremely happy…

So far we have been extremely happy with Embrace. This year it was almost $2,000 to renew our policy with a $300 deductible. I submitted a claim for my dog for a very bad hot spot that wasn’t healing. They wouldn’t cover a medication the vet prescribed saying it wasn’t FDA approved.. $44 they charged me for a well benefit which it was for a hot spot.. Not sure why our veterinary staff prescribed a medication not FDA approved but will find out.. The mouse in question is CeraSoothe CHX+KET., Embrace wouldn’t cover this, said it is well care when it wasn’t.. Bad hot spot.. they wouldn’t cover it at all.. So now I guess I have to ask my veterinarian from now on if something is FDA approved to be covered.. kinda ridiculous I spoke to two representatives to figure this out.. mostly we are satisfied with Embrace, honestly this is the first thing we’ve come across that wasn’t covered.

Great service

I have had Embrace Pet Insurance for my dog for 4 years. I have NEVER had a problem with them. My claims are handled in a timely manner. When I called about something, they were super friendly and very helpful. I definitely have told friends about them, and would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing customer service and very fast…

Amazing customer service and very fast reimbursement! My Tanner had another knee surgery on January 11, 2024 and the bill was over $4,000, my claim was processed right away and the money was in my account in just 3 or 4 days!

ER on New Years Eve

I had to take my cat to the ER on New years eve morning for treatment of pancreatitis. We had a follow up the next week with our regular vet. Submitting the invoices for review and claims was super easy and funds were deposited directly into my account promptly. Super happy with embraces service.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
