Embrace is an outstanding company. The staff is very efficient and courteous and the wait to talk to a live person is always less than 5 minutes. The insurance is unmatched and Embrace always returns emails when they say they will. My family highly recommends Embrace.

Most compassionate group of…

Most compassionate group of professionals. Embrace went above and beyond my expectations showing so much compassion for the loss of my Golden, Red. They didn't question the last expenses and paid my claim in a week, even refunded the used premium. If you have any doubts, I assure you, this is the company to trust your pets well being.

Embrace increased cost for coverage by…

Embrace increased cost for coverage by 43%. Our dog is 3 yo, perfect health, regular vet health checks, no claims. We understand cost increases but 43% is outrageous and a disservice to a loyal consumer. We signed on with a competitor for better/more coverage at 1/3rd less cost. We do not recommend Embrace.

So far pretty bad

So far pretty bad! I submitted my first claim because my dog injured her eye, which is obviously classified as an accident, well it was immediately decided and deemed as an illness…. How is an eye injury an illness? My vet it trying to appeal this but if I’m going to have to go through this everytime I have a claim, it’s not worth it. There are better companies out there Response to your comment: no confusion whatsoever, you denied my claim, my vet appealed and now you’re covering it. It’s that simple.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
