Any Excuse not to Pay a Claim
I signed up with Embrace based on generally good reviews and have been deeply disappointed. I've had two minor claims so far, both of which, after much back-and-forth and repeatedly asking for the same paperwork, were denied claiming "pre-existing conditions." This was patently not true -- for instance, I had an emergency visit because the cat was constipated, they cited "lack of appetite" as a pre-existing condition, which did not relate to the vet's diagnosis at all. I will have to terminate this policy and I really wish I had signed up with something else.
