It seemed like it was a good insurance policy but as I took my dogs to the vet whenever I submitted claims they were nickel and diming items on the claim. It was more like they were busy finding reasons not to cover than to do what is right by the claimant. They refer to their wellness plan and when I got that again I was nickel and dimed. After two years they asked for one of my dog’s medical history prior to the policy continuing. The dog had no issues. The company seems to be interested in getting premiums but not paying out. I switched to spot insurance instead. They were less and covered more.
After they replied: Again 2 years then they ask for a medical record when it should have been requested when the policy began 2 years ago. And as now everyone sees, thank god HIPPAA isn’t for animals they fine line, nickel and dime. Loving my new pet insurance.
Update after reply: Again read their reply, does it sound like a company that has your or your family member’s back? I am glad my personal medical coverage isn’t this way. Their response proves my point exactly and this is how they provide service to you. Unless you are an attorney don’t bother. Spot is the way to go.
