Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I got insurance because I thought it would help protect my adopted rescue dog. Instead, they are using some observations, not actual diagnosis to try and make a bunch of things preexisting. As my first claim experience, I regret choosing Embrace. My dog did not have any symptoms that warrant preexisting in the waiting period and this is unfair.

Getting pet insurance has been the best decision I ever made, after getting my sweet pup. I never have to worry about not being able to afford care for my sweet girl. Everyone who I’ve talked to through the company has been sweet, respectful, and compassionate. They are quick to handle with claims I’ve submitted.

Horrible company and greedy. I recommend healthy paws insurance for your dog. I started my policy with embrace for around $315 and it just went up to $1200 for a healthy dog. My second dog is the same breed and same age and even more health problems; her policy has been the same premium for over six years. TO YOUR REPLY EMBRACE: No you do not understand my concern, because I guarantee you, you are not paying a ridiculous amount of premium for your dog from $300 to $1,200. Your calculated and copy paste response does not change my experienced based observation that Embrace is a HORRIBLE AND GREEDY COMPANY. Your team on the phone and the team handling bad reviews are trained to say the same cookie-cutter response just to mask the fact that you guys just take advantage of your customers. You raise the price based on the pets age?? (That is not what other pet insurance are doing) Tenure of the policy? (so the longer I have my policy instead of being treated as a valued customer I get punished? since I've had my policy for over 7 years) High risk?? (how about you give us a discount for my dog being perfectly healthy so far) "Actuarial fluctuations" just more jargon nonsense, the only thing fluctuating is your CEO typing more zeros to everyone's premium as they feel like it. You should do some research on your competitors. I have two dogs, same breed and same age, HEALTHY PAWS is my other insurance and they HAVE NOT changed my premium that signifinatly, and my other dog has had even more veterinary bills and more health problems. I opned this insurance with you guys when my dog was a puppy, I trusted you guys, but now we feel completely taken advantage of, and this is NOT OK. What you guys are doing is a complete disrespect, inmoral and perfectly depicts the disgusting health and humanithy system we have going on in this country. Just big companies getting richer from hard working people's pocket with zero regards.

While I love our insurance and have been with them for years, I am highly disappointed in the ability to contact someone in customer service whether it is on the phone or through chat. Always "No one available". I am tired of that. This is the exact reason I dropped my other insurance company. And I have 3 policies with this company on all my dogs.
