Excellent Financial Support

Embrace made the entire process of submitting claims and getting reimbursed super easy. Their app is very user-friendly, and their communication during the medical record review process kept me up-to-date on who had - and hadn't - sent in the requested documents. Once the claim was approved, the money was deposited into my account the next day! I don't recommend spending a weekend at the emergency vet, but if you must it's great to have a partner like Embrace to make the financial aspect a bit easier.

My baby Wesley wasn’t feeling too good

My baby Wesley wasn’t feeling too good. I took him to the vet to get checked out and found out he had a Heart murmur. I put in my claim and 1 week later it was completed. Great turnaround. Thank you 🙏🏾

They just jacked up the premiums 33%…

They just jacked up the premiums 33% with no explanation or notice. I am ditching them. I found their claims requirements not very user friendly but this latest move is like a bait and switch.

BEWARE

Do not waste your time, energy or money with this scam company. They failed to cover anything whatsoever for the entire year that I paid them and blamed everything on my dogs "pre-existing skin allergies" to avoid covering. Now rates are about to increase again, id go with Trupanion instead! P.s. terrible communication within the company itself and no urgency at all to handle matters/claims timely.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
