LIARS AND FRAUDS

My policy was cancelled due to non payment they said. They NEVER tried to take the money out! I called and checked that they had the correct numbers and they took the $1.00 TEST WITHDRAWL AND THEN NEVER DID ANOTHER! Go somewhere else!!!! Do NOT TRUST EMBRACE!!!!!

It has been a great experience so far. My pet had an unexpected diagnosis that they covered fairly quickly after I submitted the paperwork. They have left me so impressed that I went ahead and added my other pet to the insurance.

Symptom considered “preexisting condition”

Just had a claim rejected because they consider “vomiting” to be a preexisting condition. That’s like saying that I sneezed before, so every other sneeze in my life is as a result of the same thing that caused that initial sneeze. I called customer service to have my claim reexamined and they took my info and never called me back. I’m VERY disappointed in the coverage and service.

All of my experiences with Embrace are 5 star ... they know how to hire people who really want to provide great service. These days, post COVID, most customer service is 0 stars bit somehow Embrace figured out how to do it right.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
