Easy Peasy Claims

This was so easy and uncomplicated to complete. I have been moving and had a few months worth of bills I had to find and submit. I was able to do it all at one time and not have to worry about it again.

Efficient and very compassionate service

Embrace promptly reimbursed me for the $6200.00 i had laid out during the terrible last 48 hours of my beloved cats life. In addition I received a beautiful card embedded with wildflower seeds to plant in her memory. My daughter just signed up for her dog this week and I would recommend their services to anyone who is interested in having funds to help their pet in an emergency

Happy with their response time ◡̈

This is an update: My most recent experiences with having Embrace Insurance for my 2 dogs have been much much better with speed of claims and information. Really happy with the upswing ! So far it’s been an ok experience. They take a long time to respond to inquiries and the claim process can be lengthy at times. Though they have over 150 employees working for them, it feels like there’s only a few with the communication process. Do your research on what kind of coverage you really will have. It can be confusing, but just takes some effort, probably more energy than I had at the time of adding my first pet.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
