Wasted a years worth of payment
I only signed up with Embrace because they are working with USAA. To start they gave me a decent price to cover our cat. However after the first year they raised the premium by 40%. When I called to ask why, they said it was because I filed a claim, I said I never have, based on the date I realized it was not a claim but the required information requested from the vet by Embrace to start the coverage. I felt my account was flagged for pre existing conditions and I got the distinct feeling they will not cover my cat if he ever needs it. Cancelled Embrace. Until there is regulation for pet insurance, most people are throwing their money down the drain.
