Our BEHR has glaucoma and has a daily routine of eye drops/anti-inflammatory ointment 3 times a day. Embrace makes keeping up with his meds so affordable. God Bless Embrace and all the wonderful employees.

Very easy. Just go one step at a time. Have photos ready to find on your photos file. However it is a little irritating that I have to fill out a review for TrustPilot every few minutes when I have a lot of claims to input.

Premium Increase after 1 yr.

Claims are usually paid within two weeks. My last claim took almost a month because they said they needed more info……which they received with a day of asking. Other than that, my only issue is after the first year of insurance, the premiums almost doubled because of “veterinarian cost increases”. Needless to say, we’ll insurance shop and find another provider

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
