Easy claims process
I've had Embrace coverage for around two years on my three cats. My experience has been very positive!
After getting everything initially set up with their exams to check for preexisting conditions, its been very low maintenance. I had them to a pre review of their medical records when I first signed up so I knew what exclusions we would have. (Highly recommend so there's no surprises)
During the two years, I've made three separate claims. They were all for relatively minor events ($1,300, $500, & $100). Each claim was hassle free. I scanned the invoice on the app and had my reimbursement in around 2 weeks.
My most recent claim was because I woke up one day and my cats face was swollen. It's scary enough taking your pet to the vet, but then on top of that having to be afraid of the bill, or worse yet - that you can't afford the treatment. Thanks to my coverage I was able to take her to the vet knowing I could afford treatment even if a larger issue.
My premium has gone up a few dollars each year. The amount I received back in claims pretty much broke even with my premiums.
I've been in situations in the past where I've had to choose between going into debt or treating our pet. The peace of mind i have knowing if anything major arises we are prepared is wonderful.
From our experience I don't have any negatives to add.
