Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

It is relatively easy to submit a claim, however it is difficult to submit more than 1 invoice. I needed to take my dog for a re-check the next day and there is no way to submit a second invoice for the same claim. Also, I was very disappointed that what seemed like a very clear diagnosis of poisoning, was initially denied by claims under my accidental policy. I had to quote policy definitions and submit additional doctor notes in order to have my claim paid. On the positive side, the reimbursement of funds was very quick once the claim was covered.

WORST PET INSURANCE EVER!!! I enrolled my young dogs and my oldest on this pet insurance. None of the dogs had any pre-existing conditions except one could not eat chicken dog food. They were on the plan for over 3 years. The only thing this company would cover is the wellness it is useless for anything else. Thanks to this company when we enrolled into a different one for pet insurance my youngest dog has a pre-existing condition now, she was enrolled when she was 2 months old and had nothing. So from now on her allergies will not be covered because of embrace. They put you through hoops and will cover nothing. I have one of the best vets there is in our County and they tell everyone to stay away from this company. The most Shady unreliable company for pet insurance.

The claim process was very easy. I am not sure how it could be improved.

The customer service was exceptional. Everyone I spoke with took the time to listen and do the research needed. They were professional and very knowledgeable. My issue / question was resolved with the one call.

We have loved our experience with Embrace. Their customer portal is so easy to use to load records, submit claims, communicate with the team, etc. If we need additional assistance, we just call & speak to a team member; they've always been professional and knowledgeable and able to explain things to us in depth. While we do wish the monthly rates were lower/more affordable (they could be if we lowered coverage limits), we've been grateful that we've had Embrace any time our fur babies aren't feeling well :) Definitely recommend this company if you're looking for pet insurance.
