Saved my Pups Life
I purchased insurance on my first pup when I got her. I figured she was no different than one of my own children and I should give her the best life I can so I purchased Embrace insurance for her.
Two years she was claim free, then all of a sudden over a holiday weekend she was not herself, very lethargic and was sick and having accidents which she never had. We took her to the vet and the vet admitted her for a week, we thought she was doing better, she had a surprise for us, on the 4th of July she relapsed and bloodwork was very bad. My doc had an idea of what she had (IMHA) but couldn't confirm it, so she said you need to get her to ISU Vet Med. We rushed her to ISU and in the first 30 mins IMHA was confirmed, she got an immediate blood transfusion and was admitted and watched for a week there. This whole ordeal was in the range of $10,000. She's on daily medication now and relapses about every 18 months, but is easily manageable since we know what we are looking for now.
Without Embrace to help soften the blow of the cost, Paisley would have to have been put to sleep as the cost to save her I couldn't afford. Embrace allowed me to say do whatever to save her only if it won't give her a poor quality of life, she still lives her best life to this day, running around outside, playing with her brother and being a sweet pup with such a sweet temperament. I can not say enough about the insurance, they're simply the best and going without pet insurance in todays costly world is not a smart choice.
