Yorkie with Staph Infection

My poor baby boy Petey had been licking his feet for over a week and I noticed thatthey were red and irritated, I brought him to my vet who gave him meds, a foot bath, and other items needed.. the vet bill was almost 600.. and it was the first of the month and I needed to pay my mortgage. I called ASPCA pet insurance to see if they could rush my claim and I got my remibursement in two weeks and was able to make my mortgage payment on time.. Thank you ASPCA.. I recommend you to all of my friends.. now exactky a month later, my dog was attacked by a pitbull and I had to file another claim ... They make things so easy

absolutely indispensable

No dog could be more loving, kind, and smart than our six-year old Papillon Josephine. Probably needless to say, if necessary, we would sell our home to protect her health. Fortunately, although she has had significant medical issues including expensive emergency care and surgeries, ASPCA has consistently come to the rescue unhesitatingly with flying, even gracious, colors. Our lives are made infinitely happier and more secure because of ASPCA.

It's a comfort and there when you need it.

My dog family member has needed the insurance four times in her 8 years of life. Though difficult to pay a monthly fee when not needed, it is comforting to know help is there when things happen.

Disappointed by ASPCA

ASPCA refused to cover an eleven dollar charge for arthritis medicine because my dog had had similar medicine prescribed for arthritis about 1 year ago. Because the arthritis "was not cured by the medication" even though she required no medication for the condition for a full year, the ASPCA phone agent stated that ASPCA was not responsible for paying for more medicine for the lifetime of the policy. I feel that I was nickel and dimed (11 dolars!) considering I pay almost 650 dollars in premiums/year for my 13 year old dog. I am disappointed that a reputable organization like ASPCA would stoop to such tactics.

Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment.
