Excellent and easy process from submitting a claim to getting answers for any questions I had.

Claims take way too long

Seems like great value but I’m shocked at the length it takes to process claims. My old insurer use to pay out claims in a matter of days. This company said it could take 4-6 weeks before a claim could even get to a claims adjuster. That’s pretty unreasonable and was not clearly highlighted when purchasing a policy.

Thank You!!!!

My Tori, being a baby, and toy addict swallowed something she should not have. I believe it was a "tuff" toy covering, she was sluggish bet not to bad all day, then all of a sudden she was,nt about 11 pm on a friday. i could tell she was in trouble, Only ER vets were open, by that time she was vomiting blood, She had a blockage and probably would of died if not seen that night. If ASPCA was not such a great company, cared so much, called to check on her, paid the claim very quickly, the peace of mind for this and any future problems my 2 pups and 1 kitten might face in their hopefully long lives,is priceless.

Quick response to insurance coverage estimate

On 10/8/2018 our 7-year old Sheltie, Bailey, was diagnosed with a ruptured CCL and torn meniscus in her left back leg. The doctor recommended surgery and the surgeon agreed; surgery was scheduled for 10/29/2018. On 10/11/2018 I contacted the surgeon and asked if it would be possible to move up the surgery date due to the apparent pain Bailey was in. He agreed to move it to 10/22/2018. I contacted ASPCA pet insurance on 10/15/2018 and asked if we could receive an estimate of coverage based on the information I had at that time and let them know the surgery was scheduled for 10/22. They were very helpful and asked me to forward Bailey's medical information to them. I sent the information but did not hear back confirming receipt of the information. I contacted them again 10/17/2018 and confirmed the information had not been received. Jennifer at ASPCA insurance was very helpful and suggested I email the information directly to her to make sure it was received which I did. Unfortunately the information I sent was not what was needed so Jennifer's supervisor personally called both veterinarian's clinics we use to secure the needed information. Due the this outstanding service we were able to receive an estimate of coverage on 10/19, the Friday before the surgery on Monday. Due to this outstanding customer service by Jennifer and her supervisor, we were able to have peace of mind that at least a good portion of the expense of the surgery probably would be covered, subject to receipt of the final invoice from the surgeon and veterinarian. We really appreciate their going the extra steps to assist and their caring attitudes throughout this process.
