Thank you for taking care of the claim for Maggie. It was completed quickly and I appreciate the call asking how Maggie is doing.

Timely response and easy to use application.

When we got our puppy we wanted to ensure that if something did happen the cost would not be a factor in the treatment process. ASPCA has been wonderful to work with and the process is easy and payments are timely.

Great insurance

The staff is very helpful, always there to answer your questions. I like the app that we can use to post and follow up claims. They refund me directly on my bank account, that is very convenient.

Good coverage - slow payouts

This is the first time I’ve purchased pet insurance. I opted for the highest coverage and added the additional rider in order to help cover his neutering and other annual costs. I will re-evaluate the rider when the policy is up for renewal as I may not need the top tier or maybe won’t need to carry it for the following year. I’ve found they do cover quite a bit at a high percentage- 90%. My only complaint so far is the reimbursement of claims have been taking at least 6 weeks. At times if I’ve had multiple claims pending once the oldest hits 6 weeks they will include the next claim in the reimbursement with the check. When questioned about the long time to process claims I’ve been told by multiple employees that it’s just due to high volume they’ve received from the summer of 2018 and on. They tell me they are working to Getting back to processing claims within 4 weeks. But I still feel a month is a long time for claim approval turnaround and payout. It would be great if the approval and payout could be within a couple of weeks as some other pet insurance companies say they do. The customer service reps when contacted have always been easy to work with and been able to answer my questions. But other than the longer reimbursement timing I’m overall happy with the coverage.

Caring and Friendly

I have used ASPCA almost 2 years. I got the insurance when my sweet Mattie, a Bichon Frise, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I knew they would be unable to help with her expenses as it was a pre-existing condition, but I had another fur baby named Kinzee, a Maltese. Before Mattie passed away, someone from ASPCA would just call to check on her. After she passed, 2 different people called to offer their condolences and then I received a card that while it brought tears to my eyes, it brought comfort to my heart. They are just caring people! Now my Kinzee has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and Cushing's disease. They have been just as caring about her treatment as they were with Mattie. Someone called me last week to see how she was doing. They didn't have to do that, but they did. The doctor finally has Kinzee on a dose of medicine that seems to be helping with both the heart murmur and Cushing's. She's 10 and we want to keep her with us as long as we can and with the insurance, I am able to make sure she gets the treatment she needs! Thank you ASPCA Pet Insurance for your caring and friendly staff! You've told me more than once to call if I ever need anything, even just to talk. You'll never know how much that means to me!
