How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Northwest Animal Care Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The waiting area is very comfortable. The welcome staff was wonderful. Dr. Compton is very knowledgeable and obviously loves the animals he helps. He removed my worries about a growth I found on Bella but was realistic about the need to watch it to make sure it didn't get worse. His tech was friendly and helpful. They are pricey but I joined their protection plan which made the costs affordable.

I take my bearded dragon in there and our dog. We always get the best service and they always charge us the lowest prices. They always knock off little nitty-gritty prices. They’re so amazing with pets there and the services you get! I would highly recommend them!

Vets, nurses, and secretaries are all nice and normally know what their doing. I have been told contradictory advice about my cat, nothing big just annoying when it happens. This is however the only vet I trust due to how long I've been with them. My parents also went here for their cats. The only problem they ever had was due to lack of funds for surgery complication fees. Even when my parents couldn't afford to pay extra fees the vets still saved their cat without extra charge which they previously and after had to pay. I've heard bad things about many other vets and this is definitely the second best option in everett. They are expensive, which is my only real complaint. They use to be reasonably priced, however these past few years they have jacked up the fees for annual check ins and appointments in general.

I have been using NW Animal Care for many years. We take our dogs (past and present) as well as reptiles (past and present) to NW Animal Care. They have always been fair and compassionate with our animals. The staff is always professional and kind.

Really nice experience. It was my first time going there, the staff was really nice. We saw doctor Guillen, who explained everything to me about the best options for my cat. The doctor's assistant was very friendly and helpful too (sorry I don't remember your name). Definitely taking my cat there when needed (even though she doesn't like going to the vet 🙂).
