How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Pet Stop Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We love our neighborhood vet clinic! My dog Ernest literally LOVES going to the vet. He gets so excited when I open the door and can’t wait to go back with the vet techs. My dog gets foxtails in his ears all the time so we come in a lot, and the clinic has always been so accommodating for us to drop him off in the morning and squeeze him in when they have time. They are great at communicating too! Our favorite vet tech is Lindsay, my dog loves her so much and you can really tell Lindsay cares for the patients so well and loves her job too.

So a friend took her chiwawa to this clinic. Honestly I was only impressed with one of the tech associates, she had answers to questions on what to possibly expect in the future and she was able to sympathize and show care to our concerns (Sparky has nose cancer). The other tech was very nice. The vet was kinda rude and I felt he didn't really give us any answer unless we ask him questions. He seemed reluctant that he had to even help us. I felt no care/love or sympathy. The place was clean. The 2 techs were very nice. Personal if my cat was to get sick, I wouldn't bring her here. My cat is my only child, she's my baby, she's my family, my best friend. If I felt the vet had no "care or love" from the vet. Why would I want and how is he treating my cat behind closed doors. 🤔🤨🙃

Very reasonable prices for a vet's office. We paid just about $400 for our cat to get spayed and have a microchip implanted. My cat has recovered well and I have no concerns about the care she received. Overall, I had a good experience with this clinic, but there were a few concerns that stuck out to me. 1. They spelled my cat's name and my name wrong. To be fair, my last name is unusual, but my cat's name is not. 2. When she came home from the vet after getting spayed, her microchip fell out. I was told it was placed by a tech who was in training/new. This was concerning to me as I was not expecting my cat to be a training experience without being told. I had to come back in later that week to have it placed again. 3. I was charged for a $95 office visit without being told as part of the total cost. I understand vets often require office visits to establish new patients and make sure they are in good health, especially before a big surgery. That is totally fine, but if am going to be charged for an office visit, I would expect to be told that it was required and get to actually have it. We dropped off our cat and picked her up without ever speaking to the vet about her general health/care. I had to bring it up myself and request to meet with the vet for a general office visit since I had paid for it, which they then accommodated.

I can't speak more highly of this place! After a terrible experience with another vet, Pet Stop got me in the very next day. They were friendly, polite and loved what they do! 5 stars!
