I'm so happy! Everyone at this office is so nice. I was overwhelmed by how compassionate and empathic the receptionist was because she knew how upset I was about my cat. We got an appointment the same day and were taken in right away. I love Dr. Downey because she's kind and compassionate and very smart. West Bexar Veterinary Clinic has been incredible. Dr. Downey and the whole crew have done everything they can to help me and my dog Charlie, and I honestly could not ask for better care. They are not just good at what they do. They are kind, thoughtful, and real. Julia at the front is amazing. She is the kind of person who makes you feel seen and taken care of the second you walk in. Everyone there just gives off this vibe like they truly care, and it is not just a job to them. I do not know how to explain it exactly, but I have gotten so much support from them that I am honestly kind of in love with the place. I am really thankful for them.

West Bexar Vet Clinic did an amazing job helping me save these two kittens that my coworker found on the side of the road. They were in really bad shape when I took them in, but in less than two weeks they have made a massive transformation. They both had respiratory and eye infections, fleas, worms, and were very underweight. The medicine and care from the clinic did wonders! They're both doing amazing now and are very healthy

Dr Downey is hands down the Best Vet in San Antonio! Caring and knowledgeable, We trust her to make the best choices for our fur babies. We’ve been her clients for the past three years, and we’re thrilled she has her own practice now. The facility is so thoughtfully laid out, with space for everything.
