Had a scare with my leopard gecko and before coming here I had taken him to other clinics but always left with doubt. After making an appointment with Dr. Coke not only is my boy doing wonderfully but I am more confident in his health overall. I was met with excellent service, a welcoming environment, and knowledgeable staff. My leopard gecko is doing wonderfully now and if anything should arise in the future, I will be bringing him back here!!

Dr Coke saved “Ronaldo” our bearded dragon’s life with a cutting edge blood aneurysm surgery, and also spotted a 2nd aneurysm inside his mouth and repaired that too! Dr Coke laid out every risk, as this is a brand new surgery, honestly a 50/50 shot- we trusted Dr Coke completely. Ronaldo is thriving!!! Their honesty and expertise mean everything. The staff couldn’t have been any sweeter: they treated us like family and made sure Ronaldo was comfy during his stay. We highly recommend South Texas Avian & Exotic Hospital !

Wonderful caring staff. Dr. Coke was fantastic, so so knowledgeable about my Sun Conures. When searching for an Avian Vet I found South Texas and I am so glad I did. Thank you from a very happy bird Momma 🥰

From the moment I talked to Mara and got a next day appointment for my sick Koi, I was already impressed. Then I met Dr. Coke and Gabriella and they were incredible! Dr. Coke is extremely knowledgeable, down to earth and compassionate and Gabriella was a perfect assistant! I actually thought to myself, how could I have been so lucky to find them. After thinking I might lose my 20yr old Koi he is now making steady progress and seems to be improving a little more each day with Dr. Coke's treatment plan. I feel very fortunate to have found them and I have hope now that my beautiful Koi fish will live to swim for many more years to come! Also, very affordable for the level of expertise I received, worth every penny and more.
