How to Save on Veterinary Costs at North East Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Been here for broken leg, nice people. Too bad they like to spend your money for you without asking you about it. I left on first visit with the impression of a wire tie on the bone I ended up picking up my dog after a drop off two days later and I had been billed for medication without the ability to price compare which I know I could probably have got it for $0.30 on the dollar they expect me to come back in on Monday after the weekend for bandage change which I am more than capable of and when I question this they were going to bring up the actual doctor who performed the work which has absolutely nothing to do with billing. Also I had him neutered at the same time and they gave me a flat rate of $200 for that which probably includes the room the doctor visit the medications and the cleanup which were already happening because of the surgery on his leg so basically I've been double-billed for a room double build for medications double billed for care which is unacceptable I would not come back here again. They didn't once try to communicate to me about changes in the surgery that were required or if I would even approve them which is unfortunate. Again if you don't mind them spending your money for you go right ahead.
