Dr. Meir was very compassionate and kind when I had to have my companion of thirteen years euthanized on Friday afternoon. He didn’t know this was the first time I have ever put a pet down, and his explanation of what to expect was very concise and clear. That really helped me know I was doing the right thing with my beloved dog Scooter. Every one of the staff was also compassionate, as they have known and cared for Scooter over the years. Thank you Dr. Meir and Staff who have never let me down.

I had to let my sweet girl Ginger go after 17+ years of having her, we got when I was 10-12 years old (its been so long I don't remember). They were very kind and understanding of our situation and why I had set an appointment (there was a bit of miscommunication but that was my fault). They helped her pass gently to the rainbow road in the sky. It was extremely hard but they made the process a lot better than I could ask for, especially during such a stressful thing. Ill definitely be going to them for most things for my pet cats still with me.

Dr Myers and staff have always given warm greetings, thorough service and clear communication. They listen and work with folks regarding any challenges whether it be a pet that is difficult to give meds to, financial constraints, or other needs. Will continue to bring our pets here for many years.

Leon Valley Veterinary Hospital will treat your fur baby with such kindness and care. They all take the time to get to know you and your pet. In addition, the services there are top notch. They recommend treatments that other places have never mentioned to me and don't perform anything that isn't necessary.

Dr Meier and his outstanding staff are true animal angels. Moreover, their bedside manners are beyond reproach. Dr Meiers, thank YOU for your compassion and tender care that you rendered to our lab Badger. “Thank you” is insufficient for how you not only pay attention to us but also the canine. Additionally, you were accommodating and squeezed us in…even as newly established patient. May God bless you and the work you do for God’s creation.
