How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Ennis Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have been taking my cat and dogs here for 12 years. They are compassionate and friendly office. I've had to have a dog seen right away with no appointment, and they've always worked me in. Great staff and prices are awesome. As long as I have pets, I'll take them to Ennis Veterinary Clinic. I thank you and so do all my pets.

My puppy and I were pulled back in a timely manner, the staff was extremely kind, and Dr. Wilson was very personable! He also allowed me the opportunity to ask as many questions as I wanted and did not rush our visit whatsoever. We are very excited to have our sweet baby Piper cared for at this clinic.

Dr. Boyd and the staff were great. Our news was the best but all was explained thoroughly and was understandable. A plan was set in place. The prices were very reasonable. We will be going back with our other 5.

Dr. Zollinger, thank you so much for your compassion towards my Cat Baby, today. Knowing you’re so busy taking care of other animal patients today and finding out the problem. I truly appreciate it. Thank you Don and Retha

They really care about animals here. I have been both for regular check-ups and unexpected bouts of illness and they were nice and accommodating to both me and my dog. Staff is all-around friendly and competent, from the ladies working the front desk, to the techs, and the veterinarians themselves. Great place, thanks for providing great care for my dog Max.
