Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Best Vet in Ennis. Can make a appointment pretty much the same day not like other places that said it would be two weeks to get in to see my puppy. She is very personable and takes time to speak with you and give good advice.

Wonderful experience! We took our 7 year old Maltese in for an ear infection and the Dr was very kind and gentle in the examination. She (the Dr) advised us that it was caused by allergies and gave her a shot to remedy that, in addition, she applied a cream inside her ear to help with the pain and I must say that 4hrs later, Delilah is feeling better! I saw someone complaining of an overpowering smell of cat urine, hmm, unless cat urine smells like lavender, the office was clean and inviting. Pricing for me at least, makes it possible to even take my babies to the Vet when they need it. 5 stars all the way!!! She also updated her rabies vaccination, gave her a de-wormer, clipped her nails and fully examined her and offered advice in key areas to help her live the longest life possible.

My pup was injured and I could not get her into our regular vet until the following morning. I was worried and panicked so I made an appointment here. Now, I am grateful that she agreed to see us under the circumstances. I could tell she was not too thrilled to find out I was only coming to her because our vet was full, so I am thankful she made the appointment. However, sanitation was a big red flag and her bedside manner was the worst. I became so uncomfortable and upset that I just decided to pay and leave. The office smelled of cat urine and the room was not cleaned after the previous pet left. The vet suspected a hernia and recommended for us to get X-rays. I had some questions about what I should look for over night or anything that may cause concern and her response was “well, it ain’t killed her yet so she should be good” i was shocked that she just said that. I would not recommend taking your pet here.

I took my little boy in to get a well exam and his shots. The vet was very friendly and has great pricing. In addition to the above she clipped his nails, gave all vaccinations, gave me meds to deworm him as well as six months of heart guard plus to prevent heartworms and one other med that I can't recall what it was. All of this and the bill was only $178. I saved 4% by paying with cash verses using a credit card for payment.

Customer service is great! She really takes her time and listens and talks about concerns. Does not judge or intimidate you into services that are unneeded or costly.
