How to Save on Veterinary Costs at NewDay Veterinary Care

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

So regularly taking pets to the vet is a new thing for this generation of my family. I have been to several vets around town but have never really felt like there was any connection outside of the services/procedures that were suppose to take place. This all changed the first day I went to NewDay and met Dr. Julie Haas. Dr. Haas and her team do a wonderful job of letting you know your furry buddy is in the best hands. I never feel pressured to accept any services and don't walk out feeling like I was upcharged on something that we really didn't need. Because of this, I always take her suggestions on how to best care for my boy Kringle. Boy oh Boy does my buddy love the staff that works there. Dr. Haas is truly a once in a lifetime Vet and I hope that I will always be able to rely on her as a professional.

Dr. Haas and the vet techs here are very kind and helpful! I took my pet Patches in for a check up following an I&D of an abscess to see how she was healing, and Dr. Haas gave me tips on things to watch out for as well as well as products to use to better help Patches heal. Not only did she do a thorough examination for her acute condition, but she also checked her general well being by assessing her body habitus and teeth/ nails. I love how knowledgeable and well prepared Dr. Haas was, and the fact that she took the time to discuss not only the current concerns, but also potential future considerations. She ended the exam by asking me what questions I had, and I really appreciated her taking extra time to do that! I’m really glad I took my pet to New Day!

Located inside Pet Paradise, I found the Vet staff to be great, patient and knowledgeable. Needless to say the Vet is not my dogs favorite place to go, but they were patient with him and answered any questions I had. First time visiting this vet as a new resident of Greenville, and this will remain my dogs Vet going forward Recommend

I moved here from Nashville and my little Pappilon got very sick. We took her to a different vet and she got sicker that night so we brought her to Fetch emergency and was quoted $3600 to just keep her overnight. We got medications for her and began our search the following day as she was getting worse. We found Jennifer Hass at New Day Veterinary Service and we joined their wellness plan so the surgery became affordable and Jennifer saved my dogs life with this surgery. I’m so fortunate to have found her because my dog is alive and well now. She got us in when there were no appointments and cared so much for my dog. Thank you is not a strong enough word for this amazing veterinarian.
