How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Emergency Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Breed Specific Health Considerations
Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.

This place is horrible and my poor dog that was suffering from parvo was not even able to see a doctor because they wanted to charge me over 200$ just for exam and parvo test ,and that was going to be the cheap part ! I was told his treatment and medicine was just starting at 300$ and would go up from there depending on what all he needed! I told them I only had 250$ to work with, I don't have a lot of money and I had to borrow to get that, so I was directed to a website to see if I qualified for a loan, the woman encouraged me to try to get 4000$ once again expressing how much money could be needed, never heard any kind of concern for my poor dog,she simply didn't care! She told me I should go somewhere if I didn't get the loan because they couldn't give him treatment for only 250$ and of course I didn't qualify for the loan and this was around 9pm when this took place, I had no other choice but to take him back home. The following day I looked for vet half the day, every minute that went by my dog got worse, couldn't get in with a vet so I tried the clinic at the humane society, with a very heavy heart i say i had to turn my dogs over to be put down, I couldn't live another minute knowing his suffering along with my 2 other precious dogs that were my babies! Maybe if this emergency animal hospital would of cared more about helping a sick dog that was suffering instead of how much money I didn't have we could of saved them! I was willing to make payments for however long and however much it was going to cost but was still turned away! This place should learn to have more compassion for animals and less concern about money! What a shame!!!!

Golden was bitten by a copperhead on the nose on July 4th at almost 11pm. I called them to make sure they were open, and they were. Arrived, and the staff were very concerned about our dog. Thank you.

Without their exceptional care, Oliver would not likely be with us. Despite the conditions with COVID, they did a great job communicating and providing frequent updates on his status. The vets and techs went out of their way to make sure he was doing well. We were so impressed with this operation and the personnel, and best of all, we got to bring our big boy home today.

I have been here twice in the past seven years and both times the staff was outstanding. It is great to have a place like this to go to "after hours" when needed. They seem to know how much we love our pets.
