How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Newmarket Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Martin(Dr. Potter) and Lorie are two of the most wonderful human beings out there. They are kind, compassionate, thorough and true angels from above. Dr. Potter as a vet is the best out there, he does not rush, he listens to concerns, and acts with compassion and empathy. You will not be gouged at this clinic like many others in the area which are all corporate enterprises now and instead be given thoughtful advice from the heart/from his many years of expertise. I cannot recommend them enough for all of their years of care for my fur babies. We can all learn a thing or two from this couple in regards to passion for your work and selflessness. Thank you both

It’s one of the best places I’ve ever taken my cats. Dr. Potter is very gentle and caring. my cats were handled with so much care and love. I do appreciate that a lot after having unpleasant experiences else where.

Great experience! I was greeted by Sophie, their very kind dog. Dr. Potter was very polite, nice, and professional. He did not push for unnecessary tests. Pricing was very reasonable and fair compared to other veterinary clinics around the area. :)

Brought my two year old black lab Chevy to Newmarket animal hospital after being hit by a car. This veterinary hospital was hands down the best service my dog and myself have ever received. Dr Potter and his staff were extremely helpful and explained fully follow up care! These people care about your pet and you, which I’ve never experienced prior at any vet. I wont go to another vet after this experience. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

I absolutely do not recommend this hospital. They charged me $150 just for signing daycare forms. At the time, I was newcomer and didn’t know that filling out forms is free in the Newmarket area. Also, their clinic is extremely dirty, disorganized, and overall awful. In my opinion, it’s more of a death trap than a hospital.
