How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Crum Equine Veterinary Services
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Used Crum Equine for a PPE on a horse located in the Lancaster OH area. Friendly office staff made working out the logistics and administrative matters easy. Dr. Wood is a professional highly-skilled in equine medicine. She served as the exact buyer advocate I needed so emotions wouldn't run the purchase. I recommend this practice to anyone requiring an equine veterinarian in the area.

I just want to thank Dr Crum who came out for an emergency call on my horse who was choking for over 12 hours before I knew about it. It was a difficult choke for him to dislodge and took multiple tubeings to break up the lodged food. He was very prompt and compassionate. Thank you so much. My horse is thankful too!!
