How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Park Plaza Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

This is our regular vet office. The folks here are so kind. Drs Blagdon and O'Connell are wonderful. Amanda and Danielle are like family. Your pet will be very well taken care of here.

I’m a first time cat owner and took my Kalani to Dr O’Connell for a check up assuming he has worms and looking bloated. The tests came out negative and still worried about my cat’s rib/stomach area, they did a courtesy exam and confirmed he’s all good. Amanda and Dr O’Connell have been really sweet towards my baby and I highly recommend their care!! 🤩

Got a $700+Bill at the end of a check up which I assumed were the shots and check up fee, I got out to my car with the receipt and medicine and saw that $600 was for flea medicine $100 per pill which I didn't ask for and was not told i was getting. They mentioned fleas and I said I would take care of it but didn't ask for the flea medicine, I tried to go back in and return it and they said once it leaves it can't be returned. I haven't even left the parking lot.

Had to find a vet quickly due to a hiccup with my vet of 7 years. Not only did this office step up, they are SUPER friendly & my 3 male shih tzus were neutered & recovered very well!!! They made trusting a new office & new vet very easy. I look forward to using The Park Plaza Animal Hospital as my regular vet.
