How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Health Associates
Preventive care

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This vet office is probably the most rudest people I have ever met. Day 1, I called to make an appointment for Tinkerbell." There was no name. Okay. So I said the full and last name of my account. Still no, then Tammy got rude, and I had to repeat myself with what's going on with my cat. Technically, I have learned this vet office does not listen AT ALL even when we updated our info way back in August with our kitties name, and they definitely did not listen to our concerns. Anyways back to this story, I took Tinkerbell (Ariel) to the vet office. We saw Dr. Alana Wenban. Did lab work and a test. Ariel has UTI and hyperthyroidism and maybe a little bit of diabetes but not sure. That her bladder was also small. Gave us medicine for her. Her body was completely soaked with rubbing alcohol which should not have been the case. It should be a little bit on there. Ariel wasn't drinking water at the vet's office.I even asked if it thats serious to put her down, and the vet said no, she is fine. Ok, so I took ariel back home. She was fine until she fell at home in the kitchen, but she was able to walk. My husband and I were out for a few hours, not even 2. We went home and found Ariel not responding. Called emergency vet, and he said she is gone. So my husband and I took her body the next day to the vet's office. That same Tammy was there and she was even ruder that day. Obviously we was grieving and upset, I wasn't even rude to Tammy and didn't even mention that phone call we had. I told her I wanted to make a complaint about the vet who saw Ariel. Tammy started in and having a tone. I had to walk out then came back. That sick heartless person named Tammy shouldn't be working with the public, and the fact that Tammy was so rude when we brought our dead cat in makes me sick to my stomach. Show compassion. Anyways we requested her fur when they did cremation. My husband and I talked to the owner Alex on the phone and asked him questions. Didn't feel like our questions were answered and that Ariel died of a blood clot. Few days later my husband picked up her ashes, the front desk was even rude to him. We also got her files, and I was reading through them and I was so disgusted on what I was reading. Then her heartbeat was abnormal like, really. And they lied on the notes when we took her to her wellness checkup, saying that we didn't have health concerns. Oh yes we did. Her fur was one of them because it wasn't as soft as it was in the past. So my husband and I decided to change vets, and they are giving us a hard time with that and is so rude. I'll be calling the state and reporting this vet's office. We were a client of this vet's office since December of 2020 and this is how they treat people. We also never got her fur back like we requested.

Best vets around town, they are always so understanding when you call to make an appointment and very helpful in person. We had to make the hard decision today for our old pup today and they were all so kind to us. Thank you for going above and beyond with your care it shows. We moved a hour away and still make the hike to see them.

I've been going here for years with my pets and I am finally switching to Animal Hospital, these ladies are so rude and have no empathy. When my cat passed they were rushing me out of there, gave me no time to say goodbye to my cat before he had to be uthenized. It was disturbing to say the least. I compared reviews and they have a 3.6 where animal hospital is a 4.9! I called to make an appointment today (because they have been my vet forever!) and the lady who answered had a nasty tone and I instantly called the other place and registered as a new client, which was super easy and they are soo nice over there, I highly recommend the switch if you like quality people. I wish I could give 0 stars, I'm raising their rating by one point by posting this.

My dog was a patient at Animal Health Associates, for years I have taken my dogs there. Last febuary I had a problem. While looking over my dogs need of vaccine and tests, I had asked a women who worked there if I really needed all of the test and shots. She ask me some questions, ie do you board your dog. I said no, well maybe your dog dose'nt need the bordetella shot. I then I asked her about the heartworm test telling her I give my dog heartworm medicine every month. She then said well you should'nt need the test. After that I got into it with the receptionist about the need for me to get those tests and vaccines. I suggested that she was BSing me. I admit I got upset. She did also. She was trying to explain to me why my dog needed to have all of these things done. I still had the words of the other woman in my mind. So I really wasn't listening to her. I wish we both could have calmed down and come to an understanding. That did not happened. Needless to say I went to another vet. I wish that incident had not happened.

One of the best Vet places we’ve used. We had to put our family dog of 15 years down and the vet came to our place and was very gracious. I would highly recommend them.
