We have loved this location. Dr. Mitchell is amazing. She is so kind and sincere each visit. Unfortunately making this review because this was the second time we had an issue with the nurse, Michelle. The first time I brought my two cats in she was very rude and condescending. I brushed it off because of how much I liked the doctor. Today my husband had to bring in our one cat last minute. She was also very rude during this visit. No kindness or compassion. She was rude to him and talked to him like he was stupid BEFORE we asked if we could call in the morning and pay for our visit today. It’s a shame because everyone else in the office is super super pleasant.

Dr. Deborah Mitchell has more tools in her toolbox than most veterinarians. See her for the tough cases. She got 5.5 more happy years out of my Bichon after cancer diagnosis and leg amputation.

They are very friendly and really care about the patients and their humans. Very very knowledgeable. My dog had problems that my general vet could not address. Knollwood addressed her health issues and gave her a new lease on life!!

I have been going to Knollwood for years. The staff is great and the care could not be better. I have always found their prices reasonable and have appreciated Dr. Mitchell's conscientiousness about saving me money. Her blend of Western and holistic medicine has been so helpful for my pets as they age (I have had 2 rabbits with arthritis). She is always current on the latest research and is able to enumerate the pros and cons of treatment options so that we can choose the best option both for my pet and my wallet. In addition she and her staff are kind and compassionate to animals and owners. It sounds like the negative reviews are basing them on one experience. I have had 6 years of frequent visits and nothing but good experiences. I cannot imagine a better veterinary hospital.
