We were in need an emergency vet visit and had been given a good recommendation from friends for VEG Schaumburg. I can see why the recommendation was given. We called ahead and were both checked in and seen by the vet immediately. The facility was open, bright and comfortable. The vets and the nurses took their time to go over all recommended treatments and the reason for them. They were friendly and sensitive which really put us at ease. While I hope we don't have the need for an emergency trip to the vet again, if we do it will be to VEG Schaumburg.

I can’t say enough great things about VEG! My little spunky, sassy Luna decided to swallow two bully sticks whole (yes, whole!). She quickly let me know something was wrong, and I rushed her over without hesitation—thankfully, I remembered seeing VEG the day before while dropping off my squad at Bentley’s. From the moment we walked in, the team was compassionate, attentive, and completely understanding of my panic. Dr. Merchant was incredibly thorough, explaining everything clearly and with care. Every staff member treated Luna like a VIP—she was definitely the star of the day! What meant the most was being involved in her care every step of the way. They constantly checked in on me too, not just Luna. That level of compassion made all the difference. Thank you, VEG, for taking such amazing care of my girl! Memories were definitely made as she was given the best birthday gift of all, LIFE. 😂🫶🏼

We had such a wonderful experience with Veterinary Emergency Group. They provided compassionate care throughout the entire experience and made sure we knew all of our options every step of the way. The level of professionalism and friendliness was unparalleled and made us feel comfortable leaving our cat in their care. They continuously encouraged us to stop by or call to check in whenever we wanted. Between the first and second day of our cat’s stay, they had clearly paid great attention to him and formed a connection. Everything, even down to the little details, were personalized so that our cat was taken care of and loved to the highest degree. A huge shout out to every team member that was involved in his care, we cannot thank you enough for everything you did for our sweet boy.

We had an awesome experience with VEG Schaumburg! They responded to my call immediately and gave us excellent service once we arrived. We went in to induce vomiting for our puppy who swallowed a small piece of jewelry. Every staff member is warm and welcoming and they truly tried to make our puppy comfortable during her first emergency experience. They informed us of the care they were administering throughout the process so we understood what was going on. Knowing that they are available 24/7 gives us peace of mind knowing that our pup would be in good hands no matter what or when.
