How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Acworth Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I adore all the vets, assistants, and office staff. They are all so friendly and quick to put you at ease. They answer all your questions and give you time to discuss any issues that may come up. They love our furbaby and Rosie loves them.

There’s never enough time, but I find comfort in know Lucky was a happy and healthy pup b/c of Acworth Animal Hospital! In life y’all helped w/everything from preventive care, nails dremeled under sedation, to connecting us with Stefanie for training to better under each other. I’m adding pics of a healthy lucky and some of her friends y’all cared in life that were hopefully waiting for lucky on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

Reliable, easy to schedule an appointment, kindest staff of all time, and one of the only vets that will be realistic about you about pricing and what is necessary vs what isn't. We brought my childhood pets here when I was a kid, and now as an adult I've been bringing my own fur baby here for the past 5 years. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Sadly we have sent almost all of our cats here over a span of 6 years (with 6 cats). We have had 2 get spayed this year with about a month in between & both times our cat has come home with fleas which spread to the rest of our cats. I understand the answer can be to just keep your cats on flea treatment but we prefer and decide not too especially with the cost of it, the fact that 2 of our cats are severely allergic & the fact that we never need flea treatment unless our cats go here for something.
