What an amazing experience. Dr. Salvo is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, she asked about behaviors, lifestyle, diet, supplements, and medications. Most vets do not go into any of those details and just go straight into symptoms and drugs. She actually formulates real meals instead of just recommending a bag of dog food. It takes real knowledge and experience to do that. The exam room is so relaxing and comfortable and feels like a room in a home and smells great as well. She took the time to go in-depth with me about supplements and muscle building exercises, topical suggestions for skin and coat, visually analyzed my boy’s posture. She even felt and manipulated his joints and range of motion while in the process giving him a chiropractic adjustment with her hands and then compared his X-rays and noticed he has some arthritis. What’s even more incredible is that she took the time to build his trust because he does not let strangers touch or handle him. I could go on and on but it was just so incredibly thorough. I never felt rushed and she took all the time that was needed. I do a lot of research for my boy and I have never felt more confident in having Dr. Salvo as my dog’s medical professional. This was only his first visit so I can’t wait to see how much we will be able to learn from her in the future. We are so glad to have such a great local Vet. Thank you so much.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Salvo. We were looking for a new vet for our dog and she did not disappoint. She was thorough with our pup’s exam and everything she was doing and why. Our dog is pretty anxious and she was so gentle with him and even diagnosed an issue w his knee cap that went unnoticed by our first vet. We felt confident and informed after we left. I truly feel like I found the perfect fit for us.

She was able to spend time to discuss health options, feeding, and preventative care without being rushed. Also most importantly my supercharged bullterrier Ember loved her !! Dr Salvo is a compassionate and patient person. She has a vast array of knowledge as an integrated veterinarian putting emphasis on your pets history. It was such a comfort to have someone address all my concerns. I am beyond grateful for Dr Salvo’s willingness to administer and learn about my dogs cancer vaccine made by Ardent Animal Health. Dodger enjoys and responds well to his acupuncture, chiro, pemf and laser treatments. Dr Salvo has a way with animals and has created a super relaxing and safe place! I will probably cry as I type this - there are not enough good words to say about Dr. Salvo. If you read no further, know this - you must take your loved one to see her. A year ago, I took my beloved dog to see Dr. Salvo. He'd been diagnosed with bladder cancer a little less than a year prior, and I was still searching for the right doctor for him. I'd opted out of chemotherapy and was treating his cancer pretty much solely with Carprofen. He was doing okay, not great. His previous vet said there was nothing else to be done but what she was doing. My expectation or hope was not that he live many more years, but that I serve my dearest friend with the best care I could in order to meet him wherever he was/is on his journey. He was still engaged with life in a way that felt meaningful, so doing nothing to improve his status was troubling to me. To say I am grateful for what Dr. Salvo has given us falls short on every level. I am certain my boy wouldn't be alive today if not for her generous, consistent, compassionate, humane care. She changed what medication could be changed, kept what was working, and has supported us every step of the way. Through panic and grief, through haste and uncertainty. Dr.Salvo's easy going, gentle, matter-of-fact, and patient-centered approach has affirmed my decision to trust my instincts, and to trust her. It feels as though she's cared for us both, truly. At any time I can reach out to her with a question or concern and rely on her thoughtful, patient response. I only wish I'd found her sooner, and given my dearest companion such an incredible ally for all of his earthly days. If you are unsure of where to turn, and who to trust with who you love most - look no further. You found her.
